Missoula Young Professionals provides events designed to engage young people (21 to "young at heart") from area firms and help them become more competitive in the business arena. The program helps young professionals establish a web of business contacts through networking and grow both personally and professionally through a variety of program topics and venues.

The MYP networking events are held on the third Tuesday of each month from 5-7 pm at various member businesses. We offer networking, prizes, food and beverages and often times a volunteer opportunity. All are welcome. Join us!

Jessica Patrick joined the Missoula Young Professionals Steering Committee in the Summer of 2017 and became the Vice Chair in 2019. She joined the MYP team so she could become more involved in the community and meet other like-minded young professionals starting out in their careers.

Jessica moved to Missoula in the fall of 2011 to attend the University of Montana. While attending college, she started working at the Doubletree Missoula as a Sales Admin, and later promoted to the Catering Sales Manager, which combines her creativity with her love of planning.

When not working, she enjoys being outside- hiking, skiing, floating and drinking beer from any of the amazing local craft breweries.

Originally from eastern MT, Tyrell came to Missoula in 2010 to attend the University of Montana, where he obtained Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Mathematics. Following graduation, Tyrell spent nearly a year employed with local engineering firm Territorial-Landworks, Inc. (TLI) before moving to California’s Bay Area to work as an analyst for a Financial Tech company. In addition to serving on the MYP Steering Committee, Tyrell is also the Secretary of the Board for the Missoula Midtown Association.
